Within the initiative of providing USGEB with a new impulse to meet the current needs of scientists in Life Sciences in Switzerland at all stages of their career, the society has changed its name and logo to LS2 Life Sciences Switzerland. This decision was based on a unanimous vote of the delegates of all USGEB Societies, who jointly felt that Switzerland would benefit from a more visible, strong and proactive society in Life Sciences.
